Get to know Ro
I built my career by standing out in some of the most demanding environments in the world: earning an associate’s degree before high school graduation, becoming a Posse Scholar, completing two Ivy League engineering degrees, earning a PhD in Cancer Biology, and carving out a stellar reputation and a successful early career at the prestigious consulting firm McKinsey & Company.
Today, I’m committed to helping others master their early-career journey with the intention and confidence I fought to develop.

The journey that shaped the strategy
I’ve walked into elite spaces carrying ambition that was constantly tested. The only Black student in a Master’s-level Ivy league engineering cohort. A PhD newcomer struggling through “refresher” material everyone else seemed to have perfected before the course even began. A first-day consultant tasked with finding gaps in an $80M proposal and presenting to the C-Suite of a multibillion-dollar company within three days.
Each moment challenged me. Each moment shaped me. Each moment taught me how to excel in rooms not designed for my success – and I did.
That journey is the foundation of my work. Today, I guide high-achieving early-professionals through their own defining moments with skills, confidence and strategies to stand out in every room they enter.

I go by Ro… just Ro. “Just” as in only, not as in righteous or fair… although I like to think I’m those things too.
For me, the name is just a reminder that titles, degrees, and accolades don’t define the value of a human-to-human experience.
People get pedestalized far too often, and I don’t subscribe to that. I never want anyone to feel like they have to speak to me through my accomplishments.
